Happy February! Embrace Inspiration, Change, & Joy!

Happy February!

Wishing you a wonderful day as we flow into a new month of transformation, inspiration, and all kinds of exciting possibilities!  As part of this process,  I have an invitation for you to consider.  They are three habits that will assist you in improving and preserving your health, well-being, and physical presence.


1.  Eat twelve to sixteen unsalted almonds a day.  Almonds are a super food that increase blood levels of HDL.  HDL is a good fat that protects your cardiovascular system.  Almonds also promote vibrant skin, hair, and nails.  My recommendation is Trader Joe’s unsalted raw almonds.  Be mindful that you are not eating too many almonds in one day.  Remember, they are a fat and will increase your weight if you are consuming too many. 


 2.  Start and maintain a routine walking program.  Walking is an easy and affordable way to get exercise.  Walking stimulates neurotransmitters dopamine and serotonin which improve your mood.  Easy ways 

to increase your steps include taking the stairs over the elevator,  parking the farthest distance to the entrance point of a destination, and walking to errands such as the grocery store, post office, and 

dry cleaners.  The ultimate goal is 10,000 steps a day.  Start with a goal that feels good to you.  Keep track of daily steps and gradually increase at a rate that feels good and is enjoyable.  


3.  Incorporating essences in your routine skincare regimen to improve the hydration, cellular integrity, and overall appearance of their skin.  Essences with extreme environmental plant ingredients are an excellent source of antioxidants.  An essence that contains a SMART sugar (soothing, moisturizing, anti-aging, resurfacing, and touch) such as bio-saccharide gum-1, is another superior ingredient.  My essence of choice is Countertime Mineral Boost Hydrating Essence.  It was a game changer for me in subzero weather.  It boosts hydration, allows for a quicker cell renewal, and contains sirutin-1, which allows skin cells to live longer and function better. If you are interested in learning more about this essence please check on the hyperlink below.
