Lip Service......
Winter plays havoc on the skin, scalp, hair and lips. Too many times we tend to ignore our lips and the care they need especially during the colder weather. Easy fix! Exfoliate your lips when you exfoliate your face. Exfoliate your lips in the morning after brushing your teeth with your toothbrush minus the toothpaste. Twenty seconds with a light circular motion is all you need. This helps to get dead cells off your lips so balms work more effectively. Keep a lip balm at your bedside and in your purse. My favorite, SW Basics Peppermint Lip Balm that can be purchased at Target. Do a night time lip treatment. My go to, PCA Peptide Lip Therapy. A little goes a long way. Avoid dark colored matte lipsticks that can further dry the lips. Instead, use a tinted lip balm. Love Black Rose by Lush! This can only be purchased in the fall so make sure to stock up. As usual, keep a humidifier ay your bedside throughout the winter months.
Best of Everything!
